LEGISLATIVE AND OTHER MANDATES Interfront is classified as a public entity, as defined in Schedule 3A of the Public Finance Management Act, No. 1 of 1999 (PFMA), and a state-owned company (SOC), as defined by the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008. As an SOC, Interfront is regulated by the PFMA, the Companies Act, and the Treasury Regulations.
